Utilizing a red laser light source with a wavelength of 655 nm, it offers a measurement range from 200 to 200,000 mm, with a resolution between 0.001 and 10 mm and an accuracy of 3 mm. This sensor is ideal for collision protection in cranes and gantry systems, as well as positioning tasks in electroplating plants and skillet systems. It features a measurement value calculation time of 8 ms and supports traverse rates up to 10 m/s. The device operates with a supply voltage of 18 to 30 V DC and interfaces via PROFIBUS DP or SSI, with transmission speeds ranging from 0.0096 to 12 Mbit/s.
